January 30, 2019 — The “New Year 2019” issue of HealthScope magazine features Dr. Anuj Chandra, medical director at the Advanced Center for Sleep Disorders, in a story called “Choose to Snooze: The Importance of Sleep Health.”

“Children can have sleep apnea, too, and it’s linked with ADD and ADHD,” Dr. Chandra says in the article. “In many cases, treating the sleep apnea will allow the child to get off their medication, since their concentration and memory issues are caused by a lack of sleep.”

You can read the entire article here, or by picking up a copy of HealthScope in bookstores, doctor’s offices, and other places around Chattanooga.
