Intern Graduates from Sleep Center

A pre-medical internship program of Dr. Anuj Chandra’s Advanced Center for Sleep Disorders graduated its first intern recently.

Mr. Ranje “RJ” Mohemadameen, who received a bachelor’s degree in biology last spring from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, worked this summer as a sleep technician in the paid, non-accredited internship program. He will begin medical school in August at Dubusk College of Osteopathic Medicine at Lincoln Memorial University.

Mr. Mohemadameen’s internship included running sleep studies, taking patient histories, and helping prepare two lectures Dr. Chandra delivered this summer to UT College of Medicine programs for doctors from around the country and for nurse anesthetists.

Dr. Anuj Chandra is a board certified sleep specialist who treats patients in the Chattanooga area and trains physicians. The Advanced Center for Sleep Disorders is located at 6073 East Brainerd.
